Coached by Colin Edgar and Gareth Lewis, the team which formed in early April played two matches, beating Ards 39-10 and Ophir 19-7, with two other fixtures unfortunately being cancelled. The lads, who are drawn from several schools in Belfast showed great enthusiasm at training on Monday and Wednesday nights during the tail end of the season, with 33 boys in total involved in the squad sessions. It is hoped that many of these young players will play for the team next season with a number moving up to play at U18 level for the club.
