Service are delighted to welcome the newly reformed rugby team from the Irish Revenue Commission for a challenge match this Saturday.
Captain John Sinclair got in contact with us a few months ago with a view to arranging a challenge match. The scheduling gods then smiled upon us as we realised this Saturday was an ideal date. It just so happens that the game will be finished in time for both sides to decamp to the clubhouse to watch Ireland go for the Grand Slam!
Service will be fielding a select XV, giving a few of our 2nd XV players a run out and hopefully getting a few old friends a run out. The game will kick off at 12.30 ensuring we'll be done and dusted for Ireland v England at 2.45pm.
We're delighted to be welcoming the guys to Stormont and can't wait for a great day of rugby, and perhaps a beer or two, all in the name of cross border co-operation of course!
