Nathan Moore

Civil Service (NI) RFC are delighted to announce the appointment of Nathan Moore as joint head coach of the progressive club.

Nathan commented "it is an honour to be asked to join the club on the back of their centenary year. I cannot wait to get stuck in and look to develop the rugby both on and off the field with Michael and Stan in the coaching team".

A product of Methodist College Belfast, and subsequently represented Collegians, Belfast Harlequins, Rainey Old Boys and UUC.

A former captain of UUC, his playing career was cut short by injury and he moved into coaching. Having completed a PGCE from Homerton College Cambridge University he took up a role with Rainey Old Boys of Youth Rugby Development Officer and then as Rugby Development Officer with Ulster Rugby. Since 2009 he has held the post of Sports Science Lecturer at Belfast Met College. He also has experience as a video analyst with Belfast Harlequins and Dungannon.

He has extensive experience as a head coach including Belfast Met College Rugby Academy (2 times finalists and winners of the Ulster u18 Provincial league and u18 Cup, 2 times winners of the Carrick 7's u18 Cup), Cooke (winning McCrea Cup twice), Ulster Women's senior interprovincial squad, UUC (league champions twice). Nathan has recently completed 5 years at the helm of Lisburn who narrowly missed out on promotion last season.
