The home side started strongly, launching a series of attacks against the visitors. Early reward was a penalty on the visitors 10m line. Up stepped Adam Wright who gave the ball an almighty thump only for the wind to pull the ball onto the post and the Service forwards unfortunately not chasing up.

The significantly larger 'Hinch pack pressed forward and ultimately wore down the home defence for the visitors no.10 to place a crossfield kick into the hands of his own winger to open the score. The visitors were to score another 3 tries in the first half.

'Hinch enjoyed the benefit of rolling subs, at least 6, with fresh legs always having an advantage over tired bodies.

No shame in defeat, the guys attacked with confidence but enjoyed no reward. A marked improvement in performance on the week before with a much higher tackle count. Individual cameos abounded, teamwork brings it together. Expecting a big turn out at training next week.

Andrew Moore, Christopher Bateman and Philip Craig all made debuts today, putting in good performances.
